Education and Training:

• Spelman College, Class of 2002

• Howard University College of Medicine, Class of 2009

• Howard University Hospital Adult Psychiatry residency, 2010-2013

• The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship, 2013-2015

Professional Experience:

• The Center for Autism (2015-2017) - evaluated children, adolescents and adults with suspected neurodevelopmental delays, administered Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) for use in diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, collaborated with therapists, behaviorists and psychologists in crafting and adjusting treatment plans for children and adolescents receiving therapy through the center's programs.

• Einstein Crisis Response Center at Germantown (2017-2018) - performed emergency psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning for adults in mental health crisis, provided urgent psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment, counseled patients and their family members, supervisory staff, or accompanying adults on the important next steps in the patient's recovery process.
